If you're a fan of the classic board game Risk but don't have willing playing partners or hours to play a game, then you will enjoy this PC download version. You can select the skill level of your computerized opponents and play anywhere from a 3-player to 6-player game. The best thing is that if you select the "quick battle" option, all of the tedious dice rolling is done instantly. A 10-minute battle becomes a 1 second battle - that shortens game time from hours to minutes. I just completed a 6-player game in about 15 minutes. The graphics are very good, a bit old school but true to the board game. The only drawbacks are that you cannot back out of certain actions - for instance, once you click a country to be the source of reinforcements, you can't back out of that. Second complaint: the difficulty level doesn't seem too high. Even the more "skilled" electronic generals make bad mistakes that a mid-level player like me can spot and take advantage of.
