I crave adventure games, until I start playing one, when I find that it's yet another game where it's hunt-the-pixel, or the puzzles are completely unrelated to the story and/or too hard or too easy.
This one was a really good mix! The live-action cut scenes were actually scary, the puzzles were challenging but not impossible, the story was coherent, the graphics were good. It was fun and engaging and not frustrating! Amazing!
I've just discovered these downloadable, shorter games - so I don't have to wait for the next Longest Journey. Which is FULL of ridiculous, unrealistic puzzles, but is longer than this game and has a more involved story.
